As part of MS Awareness Week, Forty Four Bar were delighted to host a Football Themed Night, to raise vital funds for the Perth & Kinross MS Society.
Part of the fundraising event featured an auction of football memorabilia, which included signed shirts, boots and framed photographs.
Overall, the event raised a staggering £500 for the Perth & Kinross MS Society.
Alan Cameron, Manager, commented, “We were more than happy to host this event for this very worthwhile cause. The Perth & Kinross MS Society team do an outstanding job in supporting local people with MS and they also organise a variety of events to raise funds for further research.
Our team have a personal connection with MS, so it’s great to see these funds going towards supporting local families with MS.”
Around 100,000 people have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the UK. MS is a neurological disease which can affect mobility, vision, balance and fatigue. Whilst it is incurable, research into new treatments and potential cures are ongoing.
